Grazing Management and Range Nutrition
Nutritional ecology of domestic and wild herbivores on rangelands; vegetation and animal response to various grazing management practices; diet selection, quality, intake and supplementation of herbivores.
Principles of Animal Science
This course examines the basic principles which apply to animal agriculture; survey of the industry; types, purposes, and products of livestock; principles of breeding selection, nutrition, lactation, reproduction, management and marketing.
Principles of Animal Nutrition
Classification, digestion, absorption, and metabolism of nutrients in animals; consequences of nutritional deficiencies and toxicities.
Rangeland Herbivore Ecology and Management
Ecology and management of large ungulate herbivores including consumer functions at organismal and ecosystem levels.
